Crosspromotional Branding
ProEdge Turf Sprayer
When Geoponics came out with a turf paint, it quickly became apparent to me that a barrier to product acceptance was a reluctance on potential customers part to put a liquid into their spraying equipment that might cause the pump to fail. To overcome this objection, I sought out a specialized applicator and forged an alliance with the product's inventor to become a reseller.
By solving the problem in this way, we not only took the marketplace by storm, quickly becoming the dominant brand of turf paint, but we also generated additional revenue for both our sales people and business partner.

INVENTOR'S PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION:
To Whom It May Concern:

I know Ken Daniels from working with him on turf colorants and the use of my line of ProEdge sprayers which are used to apply them. He is a person who sees out into the future and is able to account for new concepts and plan ways of addressing needs from a business approach. As an example Ken saw in my aluminum push sprayer a way to professionally apply one of the products that his company sells, so he got in touch with me and then took my sprayer into his fold.
Our professional relationship has definitely been mutually beneficial ever since. I find Ken to be a person with a keen ability for marketing using a talent for product design to put the professional edge on equipment like mine. He has helped me considerably with suggestions on how to improve the appearance and function of my sprayer, and just as importantly he has used his marketing expertise to sell 14 of my sprayers in less than 6 months.
I consider Ken a friend and a professional in the areas of product design and marketing. He is a pleasure to collaborate with, and I am grateful to him for all he has done for my company.

I developed this product one-pager to tout the machine and the turf paint at the same time.
